This year, we have been overwhelmed by the support and enthusiasm of these super supporters. Becs and John are two very talented bakers who have joined us in celebrating all things chocolate with our Big Chocolate Tea Party.
We got to know Becs last year and she has since has gone above and beyond supporting The Sick Children's Trust. Becs, a passionate baker who runs Aunties Cupcakes, says:
"I first got involved with The Sick Children's Trust last year when I saw a tweet from Paul A Young, from then I knew I had to get involved.
"I work with children and have seen first hand the stress when parents have had to travel to visit them when they are in hospital.
"I thought what better way to help raise funds than through charity cake sales.
"My original sale fell through but I saw the tweet from the charity requesting help and support at Borough Market. What a perfect opportunity, and since I have been involved.
"The Sick Children's Trust is a great charity, and it's well worth supporting!"
We met John earlier this year and we were amazed by his baking talent. Over the last couple of months, John has become an advocate of the charity, he says:
"I follow The Sick Children's Trust on Twitter and was keen to get involved with The Big Chocolate Tea Party 2015 as I missed it last year.
"I have started to bake quite seriously over the last few months, so when a request asking for help at Borough Market arose, I grabbed it with much enthusiasm.
"The opportunity to give something to the charity whilst also increasing my baking experience was too good to miss; the sale was wonderful and to know that so much was raised was incredible.
"I am happy to volunteer for future activities as much as possible, and whenever I mention the charity to others they are always very supportive."
We'd like to say a huge thank you to both Becs and John for being such great volunteers, we really appreciate all your help.
