The Colchester branch of Keyline was delighted to donate materials to The Sick Children’s Trust to enable the charity to build a shelter for outdoor toys kept at Acorn House.

Stuart and Amanda's son, Samuel, passed away eight years ago during which time they were supported at Acorn House. To help cope with their grief, the couple have both written books. 25% of the profit from the sale of Sam's Story, which is available to buy on Amazon, is being donated to The Sick Children's Trust.

We stayed at Acorn House for five nights whilst Elijah recovered and we will be forever grateful to The Sick Children’s Trust. Elijah was eventually diagnosed with viral meningitis which had been caused by the parechovirus. And nearly a year on from those horrific few weeks, Elijah is doing so well and we’re very proud of our little boy!

Katrina was supported at Acorn House when her nine week old son was admitted there for lifesaving treatment. Henry, who is now four, is doing really well and to thank us for our support Katrina has joined #TeamSCT and is running the Royal Parks Half Marathon.

Cambridge charity workers are asking locals to take part in their second Family Fun Day with live music, a raffle, dancing and more to raise money for The Sick Children’s Trust, a charity which supports families with seriously ill children being treated at Addenbrooke’s and The Rosie Hospitals.
