Jen Pringle is calling on the nation to join in The Sick Children's trust's Pyjama Party

Jen Pringle, a presenter on Channel 5’s Milkshake, is teaming up with The Sick Children’s Trust charity to support its annual Pyjama Party!

The Pyjama Party is a fun-filled day where children are sponsored to come to nursery or playgroup dressed in their favourite pyjamas. The money raised will support families with sick children in hospital in the UK.

By raising £30, a family with a seriously ill child can be supported in one of the charity’s ten ‘Homes from Home’ for one night. Jen says:

“From Monday 17 October to Friday 21 October, we’re asking nurseries and playgroups across the country to encourage children to be sponsored to wear their favourite pyjamas for the day. And what’s more, The Sick Children’s Trust will give you an exciting fundraising pack to get you started!

“You don’t have to be a nursery or playgroup – if your child’s school is interested in organising a pyjama day, or if you wanted to encourage your colleagues to wear their pyjamas at work, we’d love to hear from you!

“So, what are you waiting for? Choose your favourite pyjamas, invite a teddy friend and join me for The Sick Children’s Trust’s annual Pyjama Party! By taking part, you can keep families together with their sick child, as they face the most difficult times.”

It costs the charity £30 to support a family for one night with free ‘Home from Home’ accommodation, which includes access to kitchens, bathrooms, living and dining rooms, alongside a direct telephone line from each bedroom to the hospital ward.

If you’d like to join Jen in supporting the Pyjama Party, you can request your free pack today by emailing or by calling 0207 283 4854.
