Amelia was born 13 weeks early last Christmas weighing a tiny 1lb 1oz. She spent the first six months of her life in The Rosie Hospital undergoing specialist treatment to make her strong enough to be taken home. At one-year-old, Amelia is now 15lb and very healthy

The Mayor of Cambridge recently visited The Sick Children’s Trust's Acorn House, located at Addenbrooke’s Hospital to congratulate staff and the Cambridge Fundraising Committee on their hard work and dedication over the last 15 years. The committee have raised over £570,000 in that time which has contributed to helping hundreds of families with sick children in hospital.
