We supported Flynn's family in 2016 when he was born at 27 weeks and needed lifesaving treatment at The Rosie Hospital. He's now doing really well and this month, his family share their story on national television to help raise awareness and vital funds for The Sick Children's Trust.

Flynn was born at 27 weeks and was seriously ill. Although at six weeks it seemed like he was turning a corner, he got even worse with septicemia. Now, Flynn is 11 months old and is doing really well and celebrates his first birthday next month.

Freya-Lilly was born full term weighing in at over 9lbs. However, she was seriously ill after inhaling meconium during labour. Freya spent two weeks at Colchester Hospital, but after showing no signs of improvement she was transferred to The Rosie Hospital, where we supported her family at Chestnut House.

The best thing was if I woke up in the middle of the night and wanted to see Stanley, I could just go upstairs and he was there. I was never far away from my baby boy.

Stanley was born at 27 weeks, weighing 2lb 1oz. We supported his family in Chestnut House while he received his treatment.

Albie was born at just over 26 weeks and it wasn’t until he was five hours old that his parents, Tyler and Michala, got to meet him. He was rushed off to The Rosie Hospital, from Colchester, and over the next nine weeks his parents watched him fight for survival. During their time at The Rosie Hospital, we supported the couple in Chestnut House.
