We were told Tessa was one in 500 million and only 37 cases like hers have ever been recorded in medical history

Tessa Evans was born with an incredibly rare facial anomaly called arhinia, which means she has no nose. It is an extremely rare condition, with 47 reported cases in the history of modern medicine to this day. When she was born her parents were told she was one in 500 million, although since then the odds have gone down to one in 20 million.

We were delighted to welcome QBE volunteers to our London 'Homes from Home' earlier this week. The volunteers kindly decorated every house, cooked for the families and left Christmas hampers for them all.

It's seven weeks to go until Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 and one of our #TeamSCT members, Simon Marchant, will be sharing his training updates with us. Simon is the Grandad of a little boy Theo who been undergoing treatment at GOSH and we have supported his family at Guilford Street House. Simon is now raising over £1,000 for The Sick Children's Trust to say thank you.

Come and join us for our annual sponsored walk in London's famous Hyde Park. Families and children of all ages are welcome and please bring a picnic to join us afterwards.
