The Richards family have spoken out in support of The Sick Children's Trust, which supported them for six weeks at Stevenson House when baby Joshua needed lifesaving surgery at Royal London Children's Hospital shortly after he was born.

Friends of the Hyams family, who stayed at Stevenson House after baby William was born four months premature, have raised £2,080 after organising a giant raffle to say thank you to The Sick Children's Trust.

When mum, Anita, became unwell with tummy ache just 23 weeks into her pregnancy she didn’t think she was going into labour. However, within hours, she gave birth to William. Baby William didn’t breathe for 30 minutes although he had a heartbeat, meaning the doctors had to try to resuscitate him. By some miracle, they were able to intubate him and he was transferred to RLCH for treatment.
